Shannon R. Carey brings more than 13-years' experience as both real estate agent and mortgage banker to his role at Better Homes and Garden Big Hill. Shannon began his career in the mortgage business in 1999 with a brokerage in Dublin, Ohio. He soon became highly involved in the business and became a member of the firm's management. This afforded Shannon the opportunity to oversee all facets of the industry including compliance, processing, origination, underwriting, and customer satisfaction. In 2005, Shannon became President of Honor Financial Group, Inc. in Dublin, Ohio. In addition to being a mortgage banker, Shannon is also a licensed Real Estate Agent. He is a member of both the Ohio Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Shannon says his extensive experience in both the home sales and mortgage banking industries allows him to assess his borrowers' transactions more efficiently. Shannon prides himself in the fact that the majority of his business is referral generated, which speaks to the high-quality customer service he provides and the trust he is able to build with clients. Outside of the office, Shannon enjoys hunting, fishing, trapping, camping, cooking and spending time with family. Shannon attended Hocking College and Ohio University. He lives in Dublin, with his fiancée, two daughters and son.
