The company owner and broker told all the agents to NOT do open houses. What? This has never happened before. Then again the coronavirus hasn't happened before. There is concern that someone may become infected at an open house whether that be the buyer, owners, or agents. Nobody wants to see someone fall sick to the floor. Some homeowners decide to sell their home without a Realtor. In fact, 43% think they'll make more money by selling it themselves. However, these homeowners spend their time bustling to make the sale and end up with a selling price that is less than what the market can bear.I just sold two houses over asking. Sellers were happy. Some sellers want to cash out. Take their money and buy in an area that is cheaper. An owner I represented sold his home in Oakland, a 2 bed, 1 bath, and bought a mansion in Fresno. He said he was now living like a KING.
