Lexington 4th of July Festival Schedule of Events

    Jul 03, 2018

    Happy Fourth of July!

The celebration of the signing of the American Declaration of Independence is upon is, and thus, so are the festivals, parades, and fireworks! Arguably the biggest celebration of the entire summer season, Lexington's Fourth of July fun will kick off on Tuesday, July 3, with the Great American Pie Contest and Ice Cream Social and will feature many family-friendly events over the course of 48 hours!

The best part about these kinds of citywide celebrations is that all of the work is done for you -- all you have to do is show up with your friends and family and have a good time. Unlike a party you might put on yourself, where you’d have to buy the food, cook it, set up the fireworks, and do the decorating, with a public party like this, the only job for you is to enjoy yourself.

Expect crowds because this is easily one of the biggest events of downtown Lexington in the summer. Bring your fold up lawn chairs, your friends, and your national pride, and get ready to have a grand old American time.

Check out the full schedule of events below! Be safe, and from all of us at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Cypress, have a happy Fourth of July!
