    1. UK Basketball vs Vanderbilt Basketball

Any Lexington local knows the hype of a UK Athletics event, so add that to the fanfare of the UK-Vanderbilt rivalry and this is sure to be one of the best games of the season! If you have guests, this is your chance to get them to join the Big Blue Nation and root for the Wildcats. Kentucky’s got a pretty solid-looking team this year, and they should easily make it into the March Madness tournament if they keep it up. Vanderbilt may not be the most impressive basketball team ever, but that just means it should be an exciting win for the Wildcats. These games are most exhilarating events that this city has to offer - the city's equivalent of a huge pep rally - uniting Lexingtonians of all ages in support of the Kentucky team.
