    4. UK Wildcats vs Louisville Cardinals Football

Any Lexington local knows the hype of a UK Athletics event.

There’s a reason they say that Lexingtonians “bleed blue,” and no time during the fall season is that as clear as during one of the home football games. If you’ve been before, you understand the excitement, and if you’ve never been, now’s your chance to finally experience it for yourself! Whether you’ve been tailgating as a True Blue fan since you were in diapers, or if you’re just now getting into the game and rooting for the Wildcats, you should be able to find your home at Kroger Field among thousands of similar-minded people.

These games are the most exciting events that this city has to offer - the city's equivalent of a huge pep rally - uniting Lexingtonians of all ages in support of the Kentucky team. Their final home game (and final game of the regular season)  is November 30 against none other than the Louisville Cardinals! Not only do you have the hype of the final home game and the end of football season to make things exciting, but it's always fun to watch the Wildcats compete against their number one rival and a fellow Bluegrass school. What a great way to close out the regular season!
