Q:\u00a0Finger food – what’s the best thing to serve?<\/p>\n

A: Here are some of my favorite finger foods, ordered from \u201csuper easy\u201d to \u201ca little more work\u201d.<\/p>\n

\"prosciutto_breadsticks\"
\nThin, rosemary Italian breadsticks wrapped in prosciutto\u00a0(prep 15 min ahead), you can also roll them in black sesame seeds.<\/p>\n


<\/p>\n

\"mozzarella_kebab\"Kebabs of mini-mozzarella, watermelon, basil and cherry tomatoes (prep up to 30 min ahead)<\/p>\n


<\/p>\n

\"hush_puppies\"
\nHush puppies with jalapeno and fresh corn, served with your favorite dipping sauce (make up to an hour ahead warm before serving). I like a sweet and spicy tomato sauce.<\/p>\n


<\/p>\n

\"coconut_shrimp\"
\nCoconut-crusted shrimp served with pineapple dipping salsa (make up to half an hour ahead, warm before serving)<\/p>\n

And finally, because it\u2019s Halloween, \u201csevered witches fingers.\u201d These are your basic sugar cookie recipe shaped like fingers, then use an almond or pistachio for the nail, opt to color the nail with red food coloring (although the green pistachio doesn\u2019t need any coloring), and add strawberry jam at the bottom. They\u2019re spooky, but irresistible!<\/p>\n
