With over 23 years of real estate experience and approximately 1,000 homes sold, Valerie Fisher is known for her expertise, integrity, and dedication to her clients. Licensed since 2002, Valerie built her career on one guiding principle: to always look out for her client’s best interest.
Valerie graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara in May 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Her studies gave her valuable insight into human behavior—knowledge that continues to help her understand and connect with clients on a deeper level. During college, she also worked as a waitress in an upscale Montecito restaurant, where she developed exceptional communication skills and discovered her passion for working with and helping people. That combination of psychology and service sparked her interest in real estate—a career that perfectly blends both.
Valerie began her real estate journey in Bakersfield, where she quickly rose to national recognition. Between 2009 and 2013, she ranked in the top 1% nationally at Coldwell Banker, earning accolades such as #10 in 2010 and #5 in 2011 in the U.S. and Canada for the number of units sold. She also founded and led The Fisher Group, a successful real estate team of six to eight members, and served as Chair of the Young Professionals Network in 2014. Her leadership and success have led to numerous speaking engagements, including as a guest speaker at a California Association of Realtors® Conference and on multiple local industry panels.
In 2023, Valerie expanded her business to the Central Coast of California, where she now serves clients across San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria Counties while continuing to help buyers and sellers in Bakersfield. Having lived and worked extensively in both regions, she offers a unique advantage to clients who are moving between or investing in the Central Valley and the Central Coast—two areas that share deep community and lifestyle connections.
Valerie’s negotiation skills, deep market knowledge, and hands-on experience set her apart. Whether representing a seller aiming to net the most or a buyer looking to secure the best deal, she always strives for a successful, smooth closing that aligns with her client’s goals.
Beyond real estate, Valerie is a proud mom to her son Asher, who inspires her daily. When she’s not showing homes or negotiating deals, you’ll find her volunteering at his school, cheering him on at flag football or surfing, or enjoying bike rides and beach walks along the coast. She’s also a true-crime enthusiast, partial to a good Dateline episode or podcast, and she enjoys unwinding with a facial or a full spa day.
