Jennifer Marrs is a mother, lifelong entrepreneur, small business owner, and Luxury-certified REALTOR® in Connecticut and New York with BHGRE Shore & Country Properties. She opened her first business over twenty years ago and achieved a double bachelor’s in English and Communication & Journalism, magna cum laude. She then obtained her Project Management Systems Certificate. Jennifer has significant experience in technology, media, healthcare, project management, and real estate. Her most recent accomplishments include obtaining her Juris Doctorate in 2022. In law school, Jennifer further fell in love with the art of negotiation. She competed and won a seat to compete in the American Bar Association’s Negotiation Competition (aka “Moot Court”), where she and her teammate won the first round. She pursued the Dispute Resolution track and achieved a Certificate in Conflict Resolution Theory and Practice. In February 2023, she took the NY Bar Exam, and she is currently preparing her solo practice, where she will primarily focus on Estates and Trusts, while availing herself for Conflict Resolution (Mediation, Negotiation, and Arbitration) and for what she describes as “way too much fun to give up”--Real Estate. She serves on the Board of Women Empowering Women Institute in New Canaan and with RAM Council Foundation, Inc., a non-profit in New Canaan for substance-free mentorship for teens/tweens.
