Randy Blaser began his career in Real Estate in 2009 after spending more than 20 years as a newspaper editor in the Chicago suburbs. That experience gives Randy a unique perspective on the quality of life issues offered by the diverse communities in the Chicago area and a widespread knowledge of Chicago, the inner ring suburbs and the collar counties, especially Lake County. Randy's commitment to excellence shows in his being named a Five Star Professional in Chicago Magazine in four of the last five years, including the last three years in a row. Randy lives in Gurnee and is an active member of the Gurnee Rotary Club where he served as club president in 2008-2009 and is currently Club Services chair. He has also coached youth baseball for over a decade, and has been an adult leader in his local Boy Scout Troop. He is also a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Paul the Apostle Church. Randy has previously been a member of the Wilmette Harbor Rotary Club in Wilmette, IL, and the Oak Park Rotary Club in Oak Park, IL. He was a member of the Ernest Hemingway Foundation of Oak Park and served a term as board secretary. He was also an Adjunct Professor of Journalism at Dominican University. Randy still writes a local opinion column for Pioneer Press Newspapers each week and is an award winning writer and editor..
