Nic grew up and was educated in Winchester before attending college in South Carolina. Since returning to his home state of Massachusetts, he has had extensive experience in sales and customer service. He was a former general manager of the Aquarium Restaurant in the revitalized Davis Square area of Somerville, and the Director of Sales and Customer Service for a start-up telecommunications company that grew its sales to $6-million annually within a short 6-year period. In 2008, Nic opened "The Klubhouse" with his wife Tanja (also of Winchester), which quickly became an award-winning indoor playground for children with commendations from The Boston Globe, Parents Magazine, Boston Parent Paper, and Family Action Network (FAN) of Winchester. Nic is well-acquainted with Winchester, where he and his wife live and are raising their three children, and where he is involved in community sports activities as a volunteer coach for the town's youth sports programs in soccer and lacrosse. As a Realtor with the Shanahan Group, Nic is able to use his proven ability to listen to and understand his clients' needs when they are making one of the most important decisions of their lives-purchasing or selling a home for themselves and their families.
