Kara Taylor
I was born and raised in a very large, loving, and close-knit family on a private family road. I grew up in the small community of Vassalboro, ME. I have done my fair share of moving throughout Kennebec County, and finally put my roots down in Chelsea. I married my husband in 2020 and we have two fantastic children. Along with our human children, we have two dogs, a cat and some chickens. We spend a lot of our time outdoors in the summer, roasting marshmallows by the fire, riding four wheelers, taking road trips to swimming holes, and finding new adventures where we can. In the winter months, I personally enjoy snuggling up by the fireplace with a good book and a cup of cocoa while the kids play. We also enjoy family sledding gatherings at my grandparents' home with the rest of my family.
When I was a child, my family and I began touring manufactured homes for fun. We would pick out what we loved, liked and disliked in each home. I would then watch my mom spend countless hours drawing house plans on graph paper of homes she dreamed to have one day and homes that were more realistic. Over time, my love for drawing house plans developed. I would draw them for myself, my friends who were actively working towards building their home and for my own children to create furniture arrangements. This turned into a desire to become a real estate agent because I have a passion for homes. This passion, mixed with my natural ability to connect with people, made this career choice ideal for me and brings an unexplainable excitement to “working” now.
I bring a fresh perspective and a hunger to thrive. My ambition is to help my clients sell their properties or find their next piece of real estate while making the experience as smooth, effortless and fun. I pride myself on being transparent, patient but persistent, loyal, communicative and not afraid of a challenge.
