Maura Gammans came to real estate honestly because as a consumer, got the “bug”.
Maura’s great love of Maine began with spending summer vacations on the coast as a teen. Unbeknownst to her, Maura’s husband also summered in Maine during the same time period. With an island childhood (on Manhattan and Long Island), her affinity to water came from a young age. Through her adult life, she worked for a consulting firm in the financial services industry and raised her children, now grown women.
A place in Maine became a reality with the purchase of coastal property in the early 2000's. After a lengthy and careful search process, she and her husband finally became full-time Maine residents, landing in Sidney in 2011. After settling in, she realized she missed the real estate “hunt and became a Realtor in 2012.
Today, Maura specializes in waterfront properties. She loves working with both buyers and sellers in Central Maine and the Midcoast, navigating the sometimes unpredictable road to the closing table. She would enjoy learning about your real estate plans and goals and supporting your journey.
