As a native of MidCoast Maine, with roots in a respected shipbuilding family, I’ve spent my life deeply connected to this community. After graduating from Rockland District High School in 1975, I began my career in retail at a local supermarket. Shortly after, I became a licensed real estate agent and dedicated 14 years to helping families find their homes.
One memorable project was selling a building which became the neighborhood convenience store along the St. George River in Thomaston which transitioned through multiple owners before I jokingly suggested buying it myself. That became a reality, and my family and I proudly operated the Waterfront Market for 14 years, leaving a lasting mark on Thomaston’s history.
Later, I joined Hall Funeral Homes, where I learned invaluable lessons in compassion and empathy while serving families for 12 years in their times of need. This experience shaped my perspective and strengthened my desire to return to real estate, which I did by joining Better Homes and Gardens - Masiello Group as a broker in Rockland.
My family is my pride, with my wife and our daughter, Krystal, who is a dedicated high school teacher, along with her two Golden Retrievers, Cooper and Charlie. We share our home in Thomaston with our own “fur babies”, Abby and Gracie.
Community service is close to my heart. I have served on many boards and committees during my time in Thomaston and currently serve on several including the Board of Assessors, the Budget Committee and the Cemetery Board of Trustees. I’m also a proud member of the Orient Lodge of Masons and the American Legion, honoring my father, a WWII veteran., as well as Treasurer of the Thomaston Historical Society.
In my real estate practice, I am committed to my clients, always focused on solutions rather than problems. I stay informed on market trends and industry issues, ensuring I can provide the best guidance to buyers and sellers alike. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!
