Cathy Benish
Cathy and her husband David have called Charlottesville home since 1985. She has raised three wonderful sons, first residing in the neighborhood of Forest Lakes before moving out to Ivy in 2005 where they enjoy daily trail walks with their beloved rescue dogs. She joined the Western Albemarle High School special education department 20 years ago and remains an occasional sub to support the amazing staff at both Henley and Western - her favorite subject is Math. Cathy brings her sense of personal responsibility, respect for others, and emphasis on clear communication to her career in real estate. She considers herself fortunate to live in the vibrant and scenic community of Charlottesville. She is dedicated to providing thoughtful honest, guidance through the real estate process, focusing on each client’s unique needs. Cathy’s priority is spending time with family. Besides traveling together, they share an appreciation for the unique, varied restaurant and social scene in Charlottesville. In her free time, she takes advantage of the local waterways to kayak or paddle board, gets into some serious gardening, or hikes the trails in the surrounding mountains of the Blue Ridge.
