We wanted space to spread out but spaces to come together, we wanted safety and a great neighborhood, we wanted room for the toys. We saw so many homes that were almost it but when we walked in this house we knew this was the one. It needed a lot of work at the time, but we just knew ... it had all of the requirements but also a little something else that we couldn't name. Now that the kids have moved out, it is sadly time for us to move into something smaller and better for us as we move toward retirement but we are very excited for the next owners to experience the magic of this home and this neighborhood. There are amazing views of the Northen Lights from inside on the top floor above the pool table. Having parties on the back deck with the smell of barbeque in the air are memories that we will cherish. Moose and other wildlife mosey through the yard. Our neighbors have turned into some of our best friends and everyone in the neighborhood is very friendly. In the summer people are out on family walks, walking their dogs, biking, etc. There are two additional gravel parking spots and there is room to park the RV and atv trailers as well. The basement was finished to allow for an entire suite which was going to be a mother-in law or rental but we never got to it but there is the potential. Each room has been updated so it is move in ready but there are plenty of options to put your own stamp on. I believe that all of the major cost items have been done already and some are still under warranty. There is a new furnace and two new hot water heater in 2025. We are replacing the roof and upgrading the septic to accommodate the new downstairs 5th bedroom in 2026. The well pump and piping was replaced in 2012 so it is fairly new. There is a new washing machine in 2025. I bought a new jetted tub in 2024 and just finally had it installed so it is brand new."...
