Originally featuring a 9-hole course, a nonconforming 3-bedroom, 1-bath clubhouse was added in 1948. Although the clubhouse is no longer standing, remnants can still be found. The golf course itself is no longer in operation and the land is currently utilized as a mostly fenced-in cattle ranch. In 2017, the state of Hawaii, through eminent domain, created the Daniel K. Inouye Highway, which divided the original property into two separate parcels. Property 1: TMK 3-2-5-43-7 consists of 52.33 acres and includes TMK 3-2-5-43-20, which is an additional 1.02 acres (this is considered roadway area). Property 2: TMK 3-2-5-43-25 spans 3.759 acres. Both properties are currently zoned as OPEN. There was an initiative by the current owners to rezone ‘Property 2’ to A-3A with the intention of developing a subdivision.
