This is a newly created duck hunting field - there is no history. It is located in the duck hunting areas along the BIg Sandy River. The TWRA duck management areas are very close along the Big Sandy. The Tenn National Watertfowl Refuge is less than 3 miles away. The bottom has been levied and graded. The crop field is approximately 10 acres plus with 8 plus foodable acres. The upper area along Tom White Rd was a chirt pit for years. There are many suitable building sites and flat areas upon which to create a building area / compound. There is municipal water, electricity and internet at the road. There are 3 other duck hunting fields along Lower Big Sandy Rd - the area holds ducks during the winter migration. With some sort of crops, the ducks should be attracted to this field as well. A little bit of work and planning can create a really affordable duck club for someone looking for a closer weekend type hunting getaway. There are deer along the East end of the property.
