Catherine Dorsey
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Catherine has called Houston home for the past eight years. She is known for being task-oriented, organized, and prompt, with a straightforward, no-nonsense approach to getting things done. At the same time, she balances that efficiency with kindness and empathy, believing that strong relationships and clear communication are essential when helping people navigate important decisions.
Before beginning her career in real estate, Catherine worked as a commercial actress in Los Angeles. That experience taught her invaluable lessons—how to confidently present herself in front of a room full of strangers, communicate effectively, and embrace vulnerability. These skills continue to shape the way she connects with clients today. She is also bilingual, speaking both English and Korean.
Catherine is a proud member of the book club “A Well-Read Mom,” reflecting her love of reading and thoughtful discussion. Outside of work, her hobbies bring plenty of personality to her life. She enjoys taking long walks with her kids, is a devoted Lord of the Rings aficionado, and loves to sing. Music has long been part of her life—she was once a professional clarinet player, and playing has recently found its way back into her routine.
Catherine’s real estate career began under the mentorship of her husband, Wayo. In her first year as an agent, she worked with a realtor assisting a developer with selling homes in a new development and successfully sold half of the homes within just a few months. That early success set the tone for the way she approaches her work today—with dedication, organization, and a strong commitment to helping her clients succeed....
