Tracie Pierce
I have moved 18 times in my lifetime. I have lived in nine cities in four countries on four continents. I have been a renter, an owner and a landlord. My oldest home was more than a 100-years-old and three were new construction. I also spent a year renovating a house while chasing around child number one and pregnant with child number two. Without realizing it, I had been preparing for a career in real estate my entire life.
Along the way, I graduated from the University of Texas, worked as a photojournalist, graduated from Culinary Arts School, worked in restaurants and as a caterer and traveled to more than 30 countries.
One thing that remains a constant is my desire to explore new places and continue learning about old ones. Houston is my home and the place where I always return. After living here, off and on, for more than 22 years, I am still discovering new things about our city.
I have lived in the Memorial area for the last eight years and have been active in various capacities in the Spring Branch School district for the entire time. Currently, I serve on the Gutherie Center Campus Improvement Team. I volunteer with Literacy Advance as a tutor and am also active in the National Charity League, West Houston Chapter. I am a member of the Houston Heart Guild, a fundraising and support group for the American Heart Association.
Having lived in Spring, West Houston, Kingwood, The Heights and the Memorial area, I have become intimately knowledgeable of many communities in the Houston metropolitan area. I also own property in The Woodlands and frequently spend time in the Lake Conroe area.
Because of my vast personal experience in real estate, I understand my clients' needs. I know what it's like to pack up a house and move to a new city or just a new house in the same city. My focus is on making the transition to a new home as easy as possible, which I believe comes from a combonation of shared knowledge and respect, and a willingness to work with eachother.
I value my clients' time so I explore their needs in depth before beginning the home buying or selling, so that we can formulate together a plan to go off of, while still adapting, as we work together through the real estate process.
