Wayo Dorsey
A native Houstonian, Wayo Dorsey has spent his life between Houston and Los Angeles, developing a deep appreciation for diverse markets and communities. Raised in a real estate family—his father a respected luxury homebuilder and his mother a renowned interior designer—he gained early exposure to every facet of the industry, from construction and design to investment and development.
Wayo began his real estate career at just 20 years old while attending Texas Christian University, where he founded his own brokerage specializing in student housing. He later expanded into development, assembling land parcels and helping facilitate the university’s growth while creating housing opportunities for fellow students. This entrepreneurial background gives him a unique ability to identify value, solve complex challenges, and guide clients through every stage of a transaction.
Known for his tenacity, honesty, and meticulous attention to detail, Wayo believes clients deserve straightforward advice and a complete understanding of the buying or selling process. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he serves a diverse clientele and is committed to helping clients make informed decisions that align with their long-term goals. His greatest professional pride comes not from transactions themselves, but from the lasting relationships and personal successes that often result from them.
Outside of real estate, Wayo is a devoted Catholic and active member of Regina Caeli Catholic Parish, where he teaches altar servers and sings in the men’s schola. He enjoys reading, creating music with his wife Catherine, an NYU-trained musician, and following baseball—especially his favorite team, the Long Island Ducks. A retired professional parkour athlete, Wayo brings the same discipline, creativity, and dedication to his personal pursuits as he does to serving his clients....
